Team Liaisons
Your go-to contact for support, questions, and communication.
Each team has a Parent Liaison who acts as a bridge between families and coaches. Liaisons help support clear communication, provide a listening ear, and guide concerns in the right direction—always with the goal of keeping the team unified and focused on a positive experience.
What a Team Liaison Does
- Acts as a neutral point of contact between parents, players, and coaching staff
- Brings team-wide concerns or feedback to the coaches
- Attends meetings between coaches and families (if needed) as an impartial witness
- Helps guide respectful communication and ensures all parties feel heard
- Escalates concerns to the board only when necessary, especially if the issue affects team unity or the well-being of a player or coach
How to Use Your Team Liaison
Before reaching out to the coaching staff directly, check in with your Liaison. They may be able to help resolve questions, provide clarity, or guide you through the right process for your concern.
If you bring something forward, they may ask:
- What’s the key message or concern you want the coach to understand?
- What outcome are you hoping for?
- What would you like me to do with this information?
And remember...
⏱ The 24-Hour Rule:
Emotions can run high in youth sports. If something happens at a game or practice that upsets you or your player, please wait 24 hours before taking action. A little time and space can help everyone think more clearly.
If, after 24 hours, you would like to contact your team liaison below, you can do so through the roster information in your team's Crossbar app.
